Carbon Neutral Search Launch Firefox / Internet Explorer Search Plug-in
Want to have a search engine that will benefit the environment? I’m sure all of us here want to at least be a part of saving the Environment. We all can, in our own way. Maybe some of us don’t have time or are always busy with our computer, but they just created a way to help. This new search engine was developed to save energy especially now, with our growing dependence in it.
The Carbon Neutral Search has now launched a Firefox / Internet Explorer 7+ OpenSearch plug-in, enabling users to search the internet via their browser without accessing the home page. Launched in October 2007, the search engine has carried out a mere 17 000 searches to date, and offset over 5 tonnes of harmful CO2 emissions via its partnership with the CarbonFund.
The Carbon Neutral Search Engine has a care for our surroundings, that’s the main reason they started it. It balances the emission by our search query. This could be used all around the globe, so if I were you, I would make this my homepage. The plug-in is so easy to use, so you won’t have any trouble with it.
The best thing you could do in your life is to help others. You can, even if it’s only a minute of your time. In each of your search in this new engine, it benefits the environment. Although one person can do little, if the whole world cooperates, we can succeed. So now, you have no reason not to help our environment.
