Buying A Coffee Maker?

If you want to buy a new coffee maker you should know that there are many types of coffee makers out there. To make your buying decision easier please read the following short explanation of three kinds of coffee machines:

1. Vacuum Coffee Machines
A vacuum coffee machine allows you to enjoy the pure taste of coffee brewed via the perfect blend of traditional vacuum method and modern convenience. As the machine heats the water in the bottom chamber, it rises to the top chamber and mixes with the ground coffee. The heat is then automatically turned off causing perfectly brewed coffee to be siphoned under via vacuum back into the bottom carafe.

A vacuum coffee machine can make pressed coffee and keep it hot for hours without the burned taste of conventional coffee makers. So when you brew more than enough coffee you can be sure that it will still be hot the next time you wish to drink it again. Some vacuum coffee machine use alcohol or Bunsen burner to heat the water so even when you have no electricity (like when you’re camping) you can still use it.

2. Single Serve Coffee Machines
Just like the name implies this coffee machine is meant for people who only drink one or two cups of coffee a day. Very simple to use with no mess it serves you hot cup of coffee every time you want it. The only “drawbacks” from this type of coffee maker is that it usually uses coffee pods. Not everyone is keen on using pods. Some people prefer to grind their own stock of coffee beans so they can mix and match to create new flavor. However using pods does have its advantages. One of them is less mess to clean up after. In the end the use of pods seem like a small price to pay for a good cup of coffee in the morning.

3. Espresso Machine & Coffee Maker Combos
Now, if you need a bigger machine where you can brew many cups of coffee (plus espresso) at once you could try this type of machine. The combo machine can usually brew 8 cups of coffee and 4 cups of espresso in a single brew. So instead of buying two different machines you can simply buy one and use it to brew ordinary coffee in the morning and espresso in the evening. The minus point is that preparing your cup of coffee in the morning requires more work compared to other types of coffee makers.
